An Indonesian woman is stunned after she finds out that her 10-month-old husband is actually a woman, despite their frequent “having sex”.
The 22-year-old wife, identified only as NA, has now filed charges against her cheating spouse.
“I’m still scared. I tremble when I go out,” the abandoned bride said in a report at the local outlet. Tribune News.
According to the website, NA met his wife, named Ahnaf Arrafif, on the dating app Tantan last year.
Arrafif was allegedly a New York-trained doctor, and the two soon agreed via text.
The couple met in person in May 2021 after Arrafif traveled to Jambi, NA’s hometown. Arrafif proposed soon after and they got married in July.
NA admitted that she was intimate with her husband during their marriage and said that she believed they had sexual intercourse.
However, he admitted that he was asked not to “look directly at Arrafif’s genitals” and that “his eyes were covered with a cloth” when the mess went on.
NA also claimed that Arrafif would only undress with the lights off, so the sex was “in a swoon”. suara.com reports.
While NA’s mother was reportedly fascinated by Arrafif before marriage, she soon became suspicious after it was revealed that she actually didn’t have a job.
Arrafif moved in with NA and his mother and immediately started asking for money. In the months that followed, NA’s meddling mother became more and more convinced that her “son-in-law” was a swindler. He also began to suspect that Arrafif was male and tried to get his identity papers.
Last April, he finally confronted Arrafif and ordered him to strip naked. At this point Arrafif is said to have admitted that he was actually a woman named Erayani Arrafif.
NA and her mother contacted the police, and Arrafif was reportedly charged with fraud.
The scammer admitted to the cops that they tricked NA into thinking he was having sex using his fingers.
It is currently unclear whether Arrafif will face jail time if convicted of fraud. The court date has not yet been announced.
