Publisher neos Company and developer Millennium Cuisine will be released Shin-chan: Me and The Professor On Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey for PlayStation 4 and Change companies around the world in August announced. It will support English, Japanese, German, Spanish and Portuguese subtitle options.
In Japan, where the game is currently available for Switch, the first PlayStation 4 release will be digital-only, though a physical release is also planned. More information on the physical release will be provided at a later date.
It is unknown at this time whether a physical edition is planned to be released in the west.
Developed by the studio behind Boku no Natsuyasumi series, Shin-chan: Me and The Professor On Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey It was first released for Switch on July 15, 2021 in Japan and May 4, 2022 in Asia, and has since surpassed 400,000 combined shipments and digital sales.

Story
Hiroshi has to go on a business trip to Kyushu, so now the entire Nohara family, Misae’s childhood friend Assou, has decided to stay in Kumamoto.
But when they arrive at Kumamoto Station on their way to Assou, they meet a strange man who offers them an even stranger camera on the condition that they witness…
Shinnosuke can enjoy his summer vacation in the beautiful Assou fields and mountains with his new camera in hand. The landscape is even swarming with creatures he would never find in Kasukabe. And there are townspeople to help and new friends to make.
However… don’t these kids look a lot like the ones you know from home?
On a cool summer night, Shinnosuke witnesses a giant creature outlined right up against the light of a cloud. moon. Next to the creature is a strange man with a wide smile.
The same strange man who gave him the camera at the station…
And he calls himself the Bad Professor. After this encounter, more and more strange things begin to happen around Assou…

- Shin-chan and the Nohara Family – At the center of it all is the inexhaustible five-year-old Sinnosuke Nohara himself! Accompanying him are his father Hiroshi, his mother Misae, his sister Himawari and his beloved pet dog Shiro. The Noharas traveled all the way from Kasukabe to Assou. - Hinoyama Family – From left to right: Yoyoko, Lalako, Cap Hinoyama’s family hosts the Noharas while in Assou. Yoyoko runs the local Hinoyama Cafe. He’s actually a childhood friend of Misae! Lalako is Yoyoko’s younger sister and quickly became friends with Shinnosuke. Their father, who runs the local news agency, is actually named Mamoru, but everyone just calls him the Captain!
- bad professor – Self-proclaimed “The Scariest Mad Scientist of All Time”. He is easily one of the most important characters in this story!
- Kazuma, Kine, Masaya and Bu – Some of the local kids Shinnosuke met in Assou… Why do they look exactly like their friends in Kasukabe?!
- Yoshiko Kurogami, Mott Yamada, Saburo Aoyama, Jiro Aoyama, Ichiro Aoyama, Hata Aoyama and Shinobu Ginga – Villagers of Assou. All sorts of stories will emerge through Shinnosuke’s interactions with the natives.

- Morning Workout in Assou – Japanese summer vacation wouldn’t be complete without morning gymnastics! Everyone in town is getting together to stretch this morning! Sit back and enjoy the show!
- Fun Meals – The Nohara and Hinoyama families eat all their meals together. Once seated they say thank you for the food and walk in! The food looks great, but I guess you can’t expect less when staying at a real cafe!
- Discover The Way You Want – Run, play and explore in a wide variety of locations. Assou is home to all kinds of rare insects and fish, as it is intertwined with nature! Catch fish and insects, help the townspeople and enjoy your summer vacation to the fullest!
- Evening Bath – After a day of fun and discovery, it’s time to take a bath with Dad! You can even see the starry sky from inside the traditional tiled tub. Get rid of the tiredness and prepare yourself for the next day!
- picture diary – Record all your fun experiences in the picture diary. Whether it’s what happened that day, new things you discovered, or the types of fish and insects you caught, this is the best way to treasure your summer memories!
- Become a News Reporter – When Shinnosuke visits Cap at the News Agency, the boy is appointed as a journalist! What he reports will be printed on paper and posted on bulletin boards throughout the city! As the newspaper attracts more subscribers, the company will flourish! Try to hunt for the hottest scoop!
- Catch Errors – Assou’s rich neighborhood is filled to the brim with insects. Some are even quite rare, certainly not the kind you’ll find in Kasukabe! Prepare your insect net, aim and SWING! Any bugs you catch will be saved in your Bug Encyclopedia!
- Catching fish – Assou’s rivers and ponds are rich in fish, so you can enjoy fishing whenever you want! Get your fishing rod ready, reel it in at the right time and you may catch something rare! All the fish you catch will be saved in your Fish Encyclopedia!
- grow vegetables – You can grow healthy vegetables at Kurokami Farm! You can even earn some pocket money if you bring the vegetables you grow to Hinoyama Cafe or other shops in town.
