Jude Law has said he reflects on the Queen’s death as he goes through a ‘mourning process’ and ‘rediscovery’ as he directs a series of stars that pay tribute to the late monarch at Disney’s D23 Expo 2022 in Anaheim. California Sunday.

Charlie’s Angels star Lucy Liu, 53, said she was heartbroken at the news of the Queen’s death and said the monarch was “willing” to put Britain before her own family at times.
He said: ‘This is so heartbreaking. I mean, this position was given to him at a very young age and he got on the plate and really created this iconic role.

He also put his family first, but he really put his country before him, and I think that’s an important choice he made. That’s very inspiring.’
Star Wars actor Warwick Davis, 52, said: “I’m going to say I’m very, very sorry to hear that he died.
“I’m a royalist, I respect the monarchy and I think it’s great that England has a monarchy.

I would have loved to have met Her Majesty but I did not have the opportunity but I have been to royal events at Buckingham Palace in the past and it was beautiful.

Sir Elton John spearheaded the tribute to the Queen after her death on Thursday.
The 75-year-old singer, who sang at Princess Diana’s funeral and performed a reworked version of her song Candle In The Wind, took to her Instagram account to mourn the British monarch’s passing at the age of 96.
The musician wrote: “Together with the rest of the country, I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s death.
‘He was an inspiring presence to be around and lead the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace, kindness and genuine compassion.
“Queen Elizabeth has been a big part of my life since childhood and I will miss her very much.”

Stephen Fry joined the flood of famous faces commemorating Her Majesty, saying she burst into tears at the news that Britain’s longest-serving monarch had died at her home in Balmoral.
The 65-year-old comedian and actor tweeted, “Oh dear. Oh we. Oh heaven. Bless my soul. Oh lol. Damn. I don’t know why I’m hiccuping. Stupid really. Oh dear.’
Former British football player Gary Lineker, 61, tweeted: “A very sad day. Her Majesty the Queen has died. A truly extraordinary woman who served her country with dignity, loyalty and grace. A comforting gift in the lives of many of us. Rest in peace, Your Highness.”


All-stars: Victoria Beckham and Mick Jagger were among the stars who took to social media to commemorate the Queen.
Ex-Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham, 48, wrote online: “Today is a very sad day, not just for our country, but for the entire world.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Sovereign, His Royal Highness the Queen.
“He will be remembered for his continued loyalty and service, and my thoughts are with the royal family at this incredibly sad time.”
Whoopi Goldberg, 66, recalled her meeting with the Queen and was crowned King III. I am an American child from projects and I am with the Queen of England. I was in awe. Rest in peace. God Bless the King.’
