Farley tweeted photos from the 7:11 p.m. visit on Friday, saying, “I’m so happy to welcome @JimmyFallon to @Ford. It’s a fun day on the track and the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, MI surprised our teams that built the #F150Lightning. Thank you.” . Jimmy!”
17 minutes later, Fallon tweeted to Farley: “You’re so smart, funny, and troublesome. Most importantly – you treat your staff like family and I’m so happy to see them all first hand. Thank you for inviting me… what if I could come and hang out! !!!”
A crew from WDIV-TV (Channel 4), an NBC affiliate that broadcasts Fallon’s show and “SNL,” was invited to interview Fallon and Farley on the track.
Jimmy Fallon may have a special place in his heart for Motor City.
He agreed to be a guest on Spotify “Drive” podcast hosted by Farley This year celebrates the role cars play in our personal lives. Neither was paid to run the show.
