We’re talking big upgrades. iPhone 14 Pro series, a new rumor iPhone 14 Max model to change mini and more. And the leaks don’t stop as Apple event is less than a week away.
Here are five last-minute iPhone 14 rumors you need to know before Tim Cook takes the stage at the September 7 Apple event.
1. iPhone 14 Pro price increase looks real
The iPhone 14 Pro promises a ton of upgrades, including a new one 48MP cameraa always-on displayFaster A16 Bionic chip, and opening the notch in favor of a few gouges. It can also start with 256GB storage.
But as Wedbush analyst Dan Ives says, you have to be prepared to pay more. Apple will charge $100 more for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. So for the new Pro iPhones, you’d be looking at between $1,100 and $1,200. This is new Macbook Air region.

2. Phone 14 Pro applied photos and all colors
As you get closer to any iPhone launch, you’ll see so-called fake units popping up in the wild, and that’s exactly what happened with the iPhone 14 Pro.
First, a leaker called Sleepy Afternoon posted a short message. Hands-on video with iPhone 14 Pro this shows a new purple color that changes in the light. Other leaked colors include Silver, Graphite, Gold and Blue.
The Ice Universe and other sources also show us what the notch’s demise looks like. It’s reportedly being replaced with a hole for the camera and a pill-shaped cutout for Face ID technology. And the new hacking approach seems to leave more screen space. But there is some news on the notch front…
3. iPhone 14 Pro notch replacement may be a pill-shaped cutout
Early iPhone 14 rumors said that the iPhone 14 Pro will have two cutouts towards two screens. But now The rumored double cutouts of the iPhone 14 Pro have reportedly been replaced with an elongated pill-shaped design. So you could argue that Apple moved the notch down.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman supports this rumor by posting the following: excitement (opens in new tab): “That’s right. It looks like a wide, pill-shaped cavity. It may seem strange to have this separation during use.”
It’s getting more interesting. According to this 9to5Mac (opens in new tab)this new pill-shaped cut hide a very useful feature. “A source familiar with Apple’s plans” says the gap between the two cutouts will house two privacy indicator lights: one for the microphone and one for the camera.

4. iPhone 14 can have satellite connection
If you find yourself in an area with no cellular coverage and need to send an emergency message, new iPhones may let you do that. iPhone 14 support for satellite communication. The hardware side has reportedly already been tested, but analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims Apple is in negotiations with carriers to come up with a deal.

5. Ultra-wide camera upgrade
The iPhone 14 Pro has already tipped for a major upgrade for its main camera. From 12MP to 48MP first time. The addition of the larger sensor could also mean 8K video support for Apple’s Pro phones.
Now a last-minute prediction from Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max ultra-wide camera with a larger sensor with larger pixels. The pixel size on this updated sensor will reportedly be 1.4 micrometers. iPhone 13 Pro1.0 micrometer pixel. This should allow the iPhone 14 Pros to capture more light, especially at night. 6. iPhone 14 Pro 30W charging support

7. The iPhone 14 Max is truly the iPhone 14 Plus
We’ve heard this before but now it looks like there’s confirmation from a Twitter user (via 9 to 5 Macs (opens in new tab)) that the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will actually be called the iPhone 14 Plus.
Twitter user @Tommyboiiiiii posted images of what appears to be a case for the iPhone 14 Plus to be legal.
8. Can the iPhone 14 come out of the physical SIM card slot?
leak Max Weinbach (opens in new tab) says iPhone 14 grows on eSIMs (opens in new tab) or embedded SIMs. “Apple has told carriers to be ready for the iPhone 14 series to be eSIM only.” He goes on to say whether the phones will actually have a SIM card slot is beyond himself, but that’s certainly what this rumor implies.
Our guess is that Apple may only offer eSIM models in certain previously rumored regions, but we’ll have to wait and see.
iPhone 14 bottom line
The more rumors go, the more we believe the iPhone 14 Pro will be much better than the iPhone 14 this year. But maybe there are some upgrades for the regular iPhone that we don’t know yet.
